The course is aimed at singers of an intermediate to advanced level who have some former experience in singing jazz and would like to further explore and expand their skills within this approach. As a student on the course, you get to spend a focused amount of time developing your general musicianship skills as a singer and gain further experience performing together with professional musicians. ​You will be working closely with award-winning jazz vocalist Emilia Martensson and highly acclaimed pianist Matt Robinson from London. As a student on the course you also get to workshop and perform together with a professional rhythm section. ​ Expect a well-structured week that offers a wide variety of masterclasses, workshops, and regular performance opportunities such as jam sessions, open mic nights, and a final concert in front of a live audience. The course has an organic open structure, meaning that we will always consider what the individual would like out of the course. Intake will be based on an "audition" type process to maintain an equal level throughout the group. You will be asked to provide a short biography and two contrasting recordings. Cancellation Policy

No refund is available once you have booked your session. Please give 24h notice if you want to reschedule your lesson. A cancellation fee of £50 will apply when canceling less than 24h before your scheduled lesson.
